Cameron is a PhD student based in the Centre for Clinical Brain Sciences at the University of Edinburgh. He previously completed an integrated Masters degree in physics at Cardiff University, completing a dissertation on comparing BOLD and ASL MRI techniques for assessing cerebrovascular reactivity. His current research interests centre around assessing blood-brain barrier (BBB) integrity using Dynamic Contrast-Enhanced (DCE)-MRI and is involved with processing DCE data in Mild Stroke Study 3, and investigating the relationship between BBB breakdown and risk factors of cerebral small vessel disease (SVD). He is also working on identifying and solving sources of error in quantitative DCE-MRI in subtle leakage pathologies.
