Dr Wiseman is a Stroke Association Post-Doctoral Fellow and research radiographer at Edinburgh Imaging. His research interests include cerebral small vessel disease (SVDs) and chronic systemic inflammatory arthropathies and their effects on the brain.  His post doc focuses on the morphological changes in the retina and relationships to brain imaging features of SVDs.

Stewart has now left the research group but retains an honorary contract.
