Emily is a PhD student working at the Centre for Clinical Brain Sciences (CCBS) at the University of Edinburgh. She did her BSc and MSc in Physics at the Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL). During her studies, she worked on functional MRI (fMRI), sequence programming and Chemical Exchange Saturation Transfer (CEST) MRI. Currently, she is working on advanced signal processing of cerebrovascular reactivity (CVR). The aim of her project is to investigate new signal processing methods to improve the CVR data and apply them to clinical trials involving patients with small vessel disease.
