Dr Hedok Lee
Dr Hedok Lee is an associate research scientist in the department of anaesthesiology at Yale School of Medicine focusing on technical development in pre-clinical magnetic resonance imaging techniques using relaxometry, diffusion, perfusion, angiogram, and 1H-MR spectroscopy. These techniques aim to characterize different animal models including spontaneously hypertensive rats and transgenic rats known to develop cerebral amyloid angiopathy and microbleeds. Quantitative dynamic contrast enhanced imaging technique has been developed as a diagnostic marker of glymphatic system, and in-vivo detection of micro-bleeds is currently under development. Ex-vivo high-resolution anatomical and diffusion imaging techniques are also performed for morphometric analyses and histological correlations.
